FROM BIRTH TO SCHOOL

Royce was born on the 25th June 1983 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. He weigh 7lbs 7 oz and had a mop of thick black curly hair. He was so cute the other mothers thought he was a little girl. This upset me as I wanted so much to have a girl I didn't even look at him for 24 hours, When I did I immediately fell in love with him. I didn't have a name for a boy, I had Mercedes for the girl I was hoping for so hence Royce was named Royce after Rolls Royce ( I've not put up any baby pics as I don't want to embarrass him but believe me he was cute) We took him home in style, a Porche Carrera and spoilt him rotten. One day about a week later I looked at him sleeping and burst into tears, I had this awful feeling something was going to happen to him, like he would get run over or something when he was older, Little did I know what was waiting 22 years on. He was a good baby, feed him, burb him and change him and he would sleep for hours.

It was when he reached the age of 2 he turned into a little brat, a lovable one though. I spoilt him and gave into his every demand especially when I left his dad, Royce turned into the man of the house even at this young age.

My mum and dad looked after him while I worked and he grew to love them both dearly, although he knew how to get his own way even with them. His late grandad adored him and would fetch him from school and take him to the swing park or to play football or just for a walk anything to keep him occupied and happy. Royce had 2 half-brothers, Simon and Junior and a half-sister Marie, he was very close to them. He had aunties and uncles, nephews and nieces and he was always popular with all of them.
